If you are looking for information on stone houses in New York, one of the best references is:
Cobblestone Landmarks of New York State
Olaf William Shelgren, Jr., Cary Lattin, Robert W. Frasch
Syracuse University Press 1978 ISBN 0-8156-0149-2
Soft Covered 162 pages with fantastic black and white photographs of
cobblestone houses on just about every page.
A description and location of the house is included with each photograph.

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreicated. Also, any leads into other directions where information can be obtained would also be a great help. Sincerely and Thank You in advance...GVH
